ABOUT THE GAME

Pinball HD - This game will change your idea of Pinball on the iPad. Each table - Wild West, The Deep, and Jungle style - are masterpieces. Youll be stunned with the level of realism. This is a REAL Pinball simulator with stunning 3D graphics both with or without 3D glasses.

IMPORTANT

• Landscape mode - "full table" view
• Portrait mode - "flying-table" view
• In portrait mode slide up or down your both thumbs to toggle camera view from "flying-table" to "full table".

FEATURES

• 3 pinball tables with unique graphics, instructions, missions system, locations and characters
• Landscape mode shows a full table view. The games can be played in either landscape orientation with the button to the left or right of the screen.
• Portrait mode gives you a flying-table view with the camera panning and zooming over the action. This can only be played when holding the iPad with the button on the bottom. If you activate the screen orientation switch, the game only plays in portrait mode.
• A wonderful 3D engine that does true justice to the graphic capabilities of the iPad.
• Realistic physics.
• Built in help for each table. Tap the circled "I" at the bottom right of each table to get a display detailing instructions and descriptions of the features of each table. Make sure to swipe left and right when viewing since the instructions dont fit on one screen.
• Local and global high scores. Swiping right brings up a table of local high scores and further tapping brings up high scores from copies sold throughout
the world. At the end of each game you are prompted to enter your name and have your score included.
• Unique soundtrack with atmospheric music, sound effects and voices.
• Camera tilt brings dimensionality to the games offering a simulated 3D effect where the image changes depending upon how you tilt the iPad. Camera tilt only works in landscape mode.
• Stereoscopic imaging option (requires anaglyph eyeglasses). You can choose between red-cyan, green-magenta or yellow-blue lenses.

HOW TO PLAY

When running the app, you are presented with a 3D simulated camera zoom, pan and fly-over of one of the games. Tapping on a games fly-over screen shows/hides main menu. Tap on Play button to start game on current table.
Controls in game:
• Tap ANYWHERE on the left side of screen to control the left flipper and ANYWHERE on the right side to control the right flipper.
• Shake your iPad to realistically nudge the pinball table, but not too much or youll tilt.
• Tap on the "electronic caption" at the top of the screen to pause or resume your game.

Great game physics and realistic game play the only complaint is you need more stuff to play on the table seems to be a little sparce.
Game play and graphics are awesome. The differences between the tables is great!
Great graphics, great design. Great physics. Fun Arcade pinball.
Its reasonably good for mobile. Lots of tables now. I have been enjoying it for years. The flippers are digital control so there is limitation to the feel and sensitivity and variety of action.

Some bad moments

Without any doubt the play fields are beautiful. However the game balance is uneven and even unfair. In some situations the ball is magically rolling directly towards the void between the two flippers/paddles at any circumstances. You have absolutely zero chances that it misses the gape and you loose it. Example: the Halloween playfield (in app purchase) - if you shoot the ball up towards the Ramps and dont have enough momentum to push it through, it rolls back down and you loose it by 100% chance! This happened so often that I started to dislike the game badly. I played a lot on real pinball machines and this never happens in reality. Also the game depth/possibilities you have on the play fields is pretty boring. You can shoot a few triggers here, build up some effects and points there by shooting the same ramp or hole for 4 times but thats it. Can Absolutely not compare this with a real pinball machine like "Adams Family" or the legendary "Indiana Jones" or "Star Trek - Next Generation" or "Terminator 2" Pinball machines which offer you a very intense and broad game experience. Sad to see that this thing didnt bring the joy I expected. It appeared to be fun first but soon disappointed me too much.
Well, selling new tables seems to have priority over fixing old ones once they have been bought. Red Planet still doesnt have a help panel for example, and many bugs still remain in this table and other ones. Not worth my five stars any more. Update: more tables and in-app purchase, still no love for existing customers (help, bugs). Removed a star.
Ball often does not react as it would on a real table. On newer tables balls get stuck and youre forced to restart. There are much better Pinball games out there.
Paid for the app and several expansions, but still receive ads for moronic games, are you serious guys ?
I havent been able to play in a very long time. Every time the app starts, Game Center wants me to log in. Not gonna happen. And there is no way to disable game center, so I have to cancel the slow prompt every time I want to play. So Ive just stopped playing.
